Have your say on the proposed new links in our draft Greenways Plan – feedback closes 5 pm Tuesday 5 May 2026.About the projectWe've developed a draft Greenways Plan to expand and connect our neighbourhoods, parks, schools and key destinations. These connections will make it easier and safer for our community to move around, stay active, drive less and enjoy their local environment.The draft plan: incorporates and consolidates path recommendations identified across our existing strategies and masterplans, such as the Boroondara Bicycle Strategy 2022 and the Gardiners Creek (Kooyongkoot) Master Plan 2022identifies new path links in parks, reserves, freeway reserves and Victorian Government land to help expand and better connect our networkidentifies new street-based links to connect existing and propsed paths in parks and reservesidentifies areas to improve vegetation and biodiversity, including new or additional trees and plantings in parks and reserves along our path network.What is a greenway?A continuous path for shared use, predominately off-road, with vegetation along its length, linking important destinations.
