Content components We renewed the sportsground and sportsground lighting at Ferndale Park as part of our reconstruction program.Work was completed in February 2026 and included:a new playing surface, irrigation system and drainage to better support current use and reduce instances of sportsground closuresa new synthetic cricket pitchthe installation of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly LED sportsground lighting.
