Content components Works to deliver a number of dog-friendly improvements to Macleay Park in Balwyn North will commence from mid-August 2026 and be completed by mid-October (weather permitting).About the projectTo better support park users who walk their dogs on Macleay Park Oval 5, we’re delivering: a new path with lightingnew area lighting at the south and west ends of the oval a new drinking fountain with dog troughtwo new park benches for extra seatingan informal gathering area, including landscape rocks for play and seating (for both dogs and people)reducing the number of boundary fence openings alongside the oval on Buchanan Avenue and adding two self-closing gates.
