Content components With my term as Mayor coming to an end I’d like to highlight some of Council’s achievements in the past year.We’ve completed our first program of BooST subsidies for home energy upgrades and are about to open a second round.We’ve finalised the design for the revitalised Michael Tuck Stand and construction will start in the next few months.The new Kew Recreation Centre is taking shape inside and out, and our modernised Kew Library is almost complete.We’ve developed a draft Greenways plan to expand and connect our paths for walking, running and riding.We’ve installed 2 new Council-owned electric vehicle fast-charging stations, and supported the installation of 23 pole-mounted chargers.I’m proud to see these projects coming to fruition.It has been a privilege to serve as your Mayor. In the past 12 months my mayoral diary has brought me in touch with so many generous and passionate locals. It’s given me a real insight into what makes our beautiful Boroondara tick.
