Check your lot size in relation to your zone

Refer to your zone and the area of your lot:

  • If the property is in a General Residential or Neighbourhood Residential Zone, you need Planning permission to extend a building on a lot less than 500sqm.
  • If the property is in a Mixed Use or Residential Growth Zone, you need Planning permission to extend a building on a lot less than 300sqm.
