Myrtle Park pavilion renewal

We’re upgrading the pavilion at Myrtle Park in Balwyn North to provide an inclusive, functional and accessible facility for sports clubs and community groups.

This project has funding allocated in Council's 4-year foreshadowed budget. Council reviews and confirms funding each year through the annual budget process.

About

The current pavilion no longer meets the needs of our community. 

We’re making improvements by providing female-friendly player and umpire change facilities, improving accessibility, including a dedicated multi-purpose space and a first aid room and improving safety lighting. 

We’re planning the pavilion renewal in line with the Myrtle and Macleay Parks Master Plan.

Status

We’re working with the community groups that use the pavilion to develop a draft design. 

We’ll share a draft design for feedback in early 2027. Community feedback will help shape the final design.
