StatusConstruction of the new playground is expected to start in late August 2026, weather permitting, and be completed by the early 2027.How construction may impact youConstruction work will happen on weekdays between 7 am and 3 pm (excluding public holidays). We may need to work some Saturdays.The playground area will be closed and fenced off.The rest of Mont Albert Park will stay open.If it’s safe, we’ll close the walking paths near the playground. Community consultationWe invited our community to share feedback to help guide the design for the new playground.We received feedback over 2 rounds of consultation in late-2024 and mid-2025.
