The upgraded playground at Winton Road Reserve is designed with nature in mind, and aims to:
- improve accessibility
- offer a range of play experiences for children
- increase nature play opportunities
- better meet the needs of children, families, parents, grandparents and caregivers, now and into the future.







Playground features
- A play unit with platforms, slides and climbing that's suitable for younger and older children, with play opportunities underneath
- A climbing stalk
- A carousel that is wheelchair-accessible
- A triple swing frame, including a face-to-face swing
- Logs and boulders for seating and play
- A nature play area with tree education signs and the Winton Shop cubby
- Fruit and nut trees within the nature play area. Please note: an allergy warning sign is displayed at the playground.
- A learning circle where children can sit together, share stories and listen to each other. It's inspired by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, who have been using yarning circles for thousands of years to listen, connect and understand.
- A track glide and monkey bars
- A seesaw and rocker
- A discovery trail with animal footprints and sculptures.

- A paved footpath from Winton Road to the playground and outdoor shelter area.
