About Yongala Preschool

Yongala's programs are based on meeting the individual needs and interests of children through a play-based philosophy that supports children’s growth and development.

This program offers 15 hours of free kinder per week.

This program offers 15 hours of free kinder per week, and 5 hours of additional optional hours.

2024 fees per term 

The Victorian Government Free Kinder initiative is available at this kindergarten. Concession rates are not applicable.

3-year-old kindergarten program:

  • Free kinder hours (15 hours per week): Free

4-year-old kindergarten program:

  • Free kinder hours (15 hours per week): Free
  • Additional hours (5 hours per week): $567 per term

Voluntary contribution

Parents have the choice of one of the following options:

  • $400 voluntary contribution
  • be active members of the committee of management
  • be active members of the maintenance team
  • be active members of the fundraising team.

Early childhood education and care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standard (NQS) to:

  • promote continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care
  • improve knowledge and access to information about the quality of services to help families make informed decisions about their child’s education and care.
