Content components About our action planOur Children and Young People’s Action Plan guided our work to support the needs and goals of children, young people, and their families in Boroondara from 2021 to 2025.Throughout the plan, we worked closely with children, young people, parents, caregivers and service providers to understand what mattered most to them; such as caring for the environment, building strong relationships and participating in community life.Together we:delivered hundreds of programs and events for children, young people, and families.increased opportunities for youth volunteering and participation in community decision-making.supported families through information sessions, health and wellbeing programs, and early years initiatives.included the voices of children and young people in the redevelopment of parks and playgrounds.Looking aheadWhile this action plan has concluded, our commitment continues. We will build on these achievements and respond to emerging needs through future strategies and partnerships.
