Rating against the National Quality Standard

Early childhood education and care services are assessed and rated against the National Quality Standard (NQS). You can find out more about the NQS on the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority website. This assessment and rating aims to:

  • promote continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care
  • improve knowledge and access to information about the quality of services to help families make informed decisions about their child’s education and care.

You can see the Surrey Hills Preschool Centre's rating against the NQS using the child care search tool on the Starting Blocks website. You can also learn more about the assessment process on the Starting Blocks website.

Note: These details have been provided by Surrey Hills Preschool Centre in partnership with the Boroondara Kindergarten Central Enrolment Scheme (BKCES). For the most up-to-date information, visit the Surrey Hills Preschool Centre website.
