About Surrey Hills Preschool Centre

A family-oriented centre providing social program opportunities to involve the whole family. 

This kindergarten's children’s programs provide developmentally appropriate and individually based learning to ensure each child is challenged and supported. 

Interactions with children are based on mutual respect and our positive behavioural guidance supports children in gaining empathy and respect for others.

This program offers 13 hours of free kinder per week.

2024 fees per term

The Victorian Government Free Kinder initiative is available at this kindergarten. Concession rates are not applicable.

3-year-old kindergarten program:

  • Yellow free kinder hours (13 hours per week): Free
  • Green free kinder hours (13 hours per week): Free

4-year-old kindergarten program:

  • Blue free kinder hours (15 hours per week): Free
  • Blue additional hours (3 hours per week): $250 per term
  • Blue after care hours (up to 3 hours per week): $125 per day, per term
  • Red free kinder hours (15 hours per week): Free
  • Red additional hours (4 hours and 30 minutes per week): $375 per term

Additional costs

  • Deposit or voluntary payment: $250 (refundable by request once the child has commenced their place)
  • Incursions, excursions, kindergarten maintenance and educational resources: $250 voluntary contribution per year.
