About Surrey Hills Preschool Centre
A family-oriented centre providing social program opportunities to involve the whole family.
This kindergarten's children’s programs provide developmentally appropriate and individually based learning to ensure each child is challenged and supported.
Interactions with children are based on mutual respect and our positive behavioural guidance supports children in gaining empathy and respect for others.

Fees
Per term 2022
3-year-old kindergarten program (9 hours per week): $500
4-year-old kindergarten program
- Blue (18 hours per week): $870
- Red (19.5 hours per week): $950
Conditions
Term fees include:
- All program costs
- Incursions.
Additional costs
Security deposit: $110 (non-refundable) paid with term 1 fees on acceptance of place.
Maintenance levy: $100 per year - this fee is refunded at a rate of $25 per quarter if families have participated in working bees or other volunteer activity.
Hat: $10 new all new students
Concessions
A Victorian government subsidy is available for eligible families that reduces the fee per term to:
- 3-year-old kindergarten Green or Yellow group: $222
- 4-year-old kindergarten Blue group: $145
- 4-year-old kindergarten Red group: $220
Rating against the National Quality Standard

- promote continuous improvement in the provision of quality education and care
- improve knowledge and access to information about the quality of services to help families make informed decisions about their child’s education and care.
