Content components Our achievements for theme 3 for 2025–26 include:We adopted the Going Circular: Circular Economy Strategy 2025-35 in November 2025, guiding our continued transition toward a sustainable system of reuse, repair and resource recovery.We continued to support local wildlife by monitoring 41 specialised habitat hollows across Boroondara. Installed for Krefft's gliders and a range of native bird species, all hollows are occupied and helping support healthy local populations.We strengthened local biodiversity by planting approximately 54,000 indigenous plants across Boroondara's biodiversity areas during winter 2025 and autumn 2026.We supported (or partnered) EVX and Powercor to install Victoria's first electricity pole-mounted electric vehicle chargers, making charging easier and more accessible for residents and businesses in Boroondara.More than 76kW of solar was installed on Council's buildings helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions and supporting Council's renewable energy goals.
