Content components Our achievements for theme 2 for 2025–26 include:With designs shaped by community feedback, we upgraded 4 play spaces across Boroondara, improving accessibility and creating more opportunities for children of all ages and abilities to play.Council adopted the Heritage Strategy and Action Plan in December 2025. The strategy takes a broader view of heritage, recognising not only buildings and places, but also our natural, cultural, social, Aboriginal and other tangible and intangible heritage.We're finalising our new Greenways plan to build more shared paths for walking, running and riding. Community feedback has helped shape the plan and inform priorities for the next 10-years. We also improved the safety and accessibility of some existing shared paths and began a multi-year planting program along Ferndale Park greenway.We consulted with our community. 684 people participated to help shape our draft Shopping Centre Improvement Plan. Once adopted, the new plan will guide future investments in our local strip shopping centres to deliver what's important to the community.
