Content components Missing records and overseas immunisationsThe Boroondara Immunisation Services team can put your child’s missing or overseas immunisation records onto the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR). The records will also be assessed to provide immunisation catch up schedule.A fee of $51.50 is payable for this service.Please note that this process can take up to 10 business days.Report overseas immunisation records and receive catch-up adviceStep 1 – Give us a copy of your child’s immunisation recordsBefore you attend one of our immunisation sessions, you need to give us a copy of your child’s immunisation records. You can do this online by completing an Immunisation Records Update form.If the records are in a language other than English, you will need to get them translated.Step 2 – Make payment onlineMake your payment using our trybooking site.There is no fee if your child is a:healthcare card holderrefugeeasylum seeker.Step 3 – Receive immunisation catch-up adviceWithin 10 business days we will contact you by email to:let you know that we have reported your child’s records onto the Australian Immunisation Registeradvise if your child requires more vaccinesprovide a copy of the immunisation history statement.If your child needs more vaccinations, you can book an appointment at one of our immunisation sessions. The Immunisation History Statement is the only accepted document for enrolment into early childhood centres, kindergartens and primary schools in Victoria.Catch-up schedulesIf your child hasn't had all the required vaccinations, we can develop a catch-up schedule to help get them up to date with the National Immunisation Program.Catch-up schedules are complex and must be arranged prior to attending our public immunisation sessions.Free catch-up schedules can be developed for children who meet all of the following criteria:missed scheduled vaccinesaged under 20 years oldhave a Medicare cardhave not received immunisations overseas. If vaccines were received overseas and you need to know about missed vaccines from the National Immunisation Program, refer to the steps above.What if the documents are in other languages?The records must be in English.
