Fenced dog park
Gordon Barnard Reserve has a dedicated fenced off-lead dog area.
It is open every day during daylight hours except for Thursday from 7 am to 8:30 am for maintenance.
It is located between the east oval and the Boroondara Sports Complex.

There is a car park off Carrington Street and Belmore Road past the Boroondara Sports Complex.
There is also a small car park near the off-lead dog area accessed from Belmore Road on the east side of the Boroondara Sports Complex.
A third car park can be accessed off Balwyn Road.
The reserve is 1.8 km from the number 48 tram stop.

The summer season runs from 1 October 2025 to 30 March 2026. Below is the schedule for the summer season at the West and East Oval in Gordon Barnard Reserve.
