Content components The Organised Sport Seasonal Allocation Policy (the Policy) provides a consistent and transparent approach to how sportsgrounds and pavilions are allocated to groups who facilitate organised sport and recreation regularly over a summer and/or winter season.This includes:local and community sports clubsBoroondara schoolscommercial or private operators.The Policy aims to:support organisations who provide health and wellbeing benefits to our communitymaximise local and community club participation through efficient and flexible allocation, which prioritises gender-equitable access and use of sporting assets and appropriate usage feesprotect and manage our assetsencourage equitable access to, and use of our sporting assets for as many members of our community as possible to encourage and increase physical activitysupport all user groups who access and use local sport infrastructure to understand, adopt and implement equitable access and usage practices.Night match locationsThe following sportsgrounds have been approved for night matches:Dorothy Laver Reserve WestEric Raven ReserveGordon Barnard Reserve east and west oval*Greythorn ParkHighfield Park north ovalLynden Park east and west oval*Macleay Park D.S. Bull ovalMacleay Park oval 2Rathmines ReserveVictoria Park south ovalWarner Reserve* only one sportsground at this venue can be used for night matches at a time.Sportsgrounds will be checked each year to make sure they are still suitable for night matches.
