Off-lead dog park

Lynden Park is a designated off-lead dog park, except when there are organised sports training sessions and matches on the ovals. Read the park rules on our Off-lead dog park page.

There are car parks off Stornoway Road and Lynden Street. The park is 1.2 km from Hartwell train station.

Sports schedule

The East and West ovals at Lynden Park host numerous sports across the summer and winter seasons. When training or matches are taking place, the ovals must be cleared to ensure the safety of all players, pets and visitors.

The summer season runs from 1 October 2025 to 30 March 2026. Below is the schedule for the summer season for the 3 ovals at Lynden Park.

* Our Organised Sport Seasonal Allocation Policy allows for night matches during the summer season at pre-approved sportsgrounds. There may be some night matches at Lynden Park Sportsground through the season. Matches will end by 9:30 pm (9:00 pm on Sundays).
