This tranquil, tree-filled park is part of a linear network of parks. The Ferndale trail walking path runs through this reserve, linking the Gardiners Creek and Anniversary trails.

Ferndale Park sportsground is closed for the 2025/26 summer season
During the summer season (1 October 2025 to 30 March 2026), we’re renewing the sportsground at Ferndale Park as part of our reconstruction program. This upgrade will make sure the oval meets the needs of local sports clubs and the wider community well into the future.
