Off-lead dog park

Macleay Park is a designated off-lead dog park, except when there are organised sports training sessions and matches on the ovals. Read the park rules on our Off-lead dog parks page.

Sports schedule

The ovals at Macleay Park host numerous sports across the summer and winter seasons. When training or matches are taking place, the ovals must be cleared to ensure the safety of all players, pets, and visitors.

The winter season runs from 1 April 2023 to 30 September 2023.

Below is the schedule for the 2023 winter season at Macleay Park. In the table below, please note the following:

  • Oval 1 is D.S. Bull Oval
  • Oval 2 is the oval that is west of D.S. Bull Oval
  • Oval 3 is the oval that is west of the Boroondara Netball Association
  • Location 4 is not included in the table this is the Boroondara Netball Association
  • Oval 5 is the oval that is west of Buchanan Avenue.

The Boroondara Netball Association manages the Boroondara Netball Centre at Macleay Park, under a license agreement with Council.
