What happens next

  • An arborist will inspect the site within 2 to 3 weeks and contact you via phone, leave a calling card or schedule a follow-up.
  • If work is required (e.g. root pruning or root barriers), this may take several weeks and be completed in multiple stages.
  • You'll receive a reference number for tracking updates.

Request tree stump removal

If a council tree has been removed from a nature strip or public land but the stump remains, you can request its removal. 

Stump removal may take 1 to 4 weeks. The site will be reinstated with topsoil and seed after removal.
