We are a mixed group of seniors whose Club has monthly Monday meetings with a guest speaker. Other varied and interesting activities are also organised including dine-outs, excursions, theatre, films, walks, garden groups, caravan and cabin group, craft and conversation group, picnics. This is a research-based exercise and educational program aiming to reduce your risk of falls.

The program improves your balance, strength and confidence. Weekly classes are complimented by home exercises and educational seminars all designed to help you maintain your health, happiness and independence.

Come share food with friends in our Community Dining room. Caring volunteers provide a friendly and welcoming environment to socialise and meet new people. You can do activities at the Centre before or after.

Lunches are held at BASSCARE North Balwyn Seniors Centre.

Enjoy a warm welcome from the Golden Friendship Group, who gather weekly for a hot 3-course lunch, fun, games, education sessions, concerts, guest speakers and the celebration of special events. Costs and times vary – get in touch for more information.

Learn about gardening and the environment through practical demonstrations, presentations and trips to private and public gardens. Visit places of interest and meet like-minded people. We meet on the second Thursday of the month at 10 am. Ελληνική Λέσχη Ηλικιωμένων Boroondara Camberwell: Συναντιόμαστε εβδομαδιαία για μεσημεριανό γεύμα και για να γιορτάσουμε κοινωνικές και πολιτιστικές εκδηλώσεις. Διοργανώνουμε επίσης ομιλίες με προσκεκλημένους ομιλητές κι εκδρομές με λεωφορεία. We meet weekly for lunch and to celebrate social and cultural events. Cost: $5 per week, must be a member to attend ($15 annual membership). We also organise guest speakers and bus trips. Runs on Wednesdays from 10 am to 2 pm.

Live music and dancing weekly plus lunches and outings. Cost: $20 annual membership plus weekly cover charge.

On the last Friday of each month, members get together over a tea or coffee to have a chat about lot of things including books, movies, current events, current affairs, what's happening in Boroondara or other current matters.

Greek speaking seniors get together to celebrate events like Easter and Christmas, go on day trips, play cards, dominoes, backgammon, bingo, table tennis. We meet Thursday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Cost: $5 membership plus $5 entry.
