Bowls is a game for all ages - men and women can compete equally, and together.

Our membership and playing costs are excellent value and bowling competitions are graded so everybody can compete at their skill level. It is easy and quick to get on the green and start bowling, with the development programs, coaches and mentors available to get you going. Come along to seniors table tennis at Boroondara Sports Complex. Rediscover your energy, agility, balance and flexibility by participating in singles and doubles matches. All abilities are welcomed - just come along in soft shoes. Have fun and enjoy a latte after the game!

A regular fortnight gathering inviting Chinese elderly participants to build community cohesion promoting general health and wellness.Meetings will be held onsite every 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month starting 9 October. Featured activities will include: healthy exercises for the elderly, special topics of community interest, birthday parties, games, English classes and music classes. We'll continue as long as there is community interest. $15 per session.

Balwyn Evergreen is a welcoming community centre offering a range of social support programs and activities for older people in and around Boroondara. We aim to keep people living independently in their own homes by enhancing their community connections. New enquiries welcome.

Come and learn netball skills and have fun. We offer netball for beginner children in school years 1, 2 and 3.
Starts in term 2 2025, on Tuesdays 4:15 to 5 pm at Balwyn High School Stadium (inside courts).
Registration fee is $99 for term 2 and includes a netball and t-shirt.

Tai Chi is an ideal exercise for older adults, offering a gentle, low-impact workout suitable for all levels. Whether you’re new to Tai Chi or have limited experience, our wonderful instructor, Rob, is trained to teach techniques specifically for arthritis management and fall prevention. Fridays 10:15 to 11 am, starting 30 January (9 weeks). Price: $126, MAC clients: $90.
