About the gardens

Anderson Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Hawthorn with majestic heritage trees and terrific views of the city.

Boroondara bought Anderson Park in November 1911. The 5.6 hectare block was originally part of a plant nursery known as the Mount Ida Estate.
