History
Anderson Park was bought by the Council in November 1911. The 5.6ha block was originally part of a plant nursery known as the Mount Ida Estate.
Playground
The extensive playground is set on 3 levels and includes wave slides, climbing walls, a rope walkway and a long flying fox.
Sports and leisure
The 1km circuit around the park is popular with walkers.
Two playing fields are used for sporting activities. Terraced steps around a side of one of the grounds are ideal for watching sport or relaxing.
