Changes to the Domestic Animal Management Plan
The current Domestic Animal Management Plan 2017-21 will expire soon.
Following consultation with key experts including local veterinary clinics and the RSPCA, we have updated the Domestic Animal Management Plan for 2021-25 and are inviting community feedback.

About the Domestic Animal Management Plan
Under Section 68A of the Domestic Animals Act 1994, Council must submit a Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP) on a four-yearly cycle, in consultation with the Secretary of the Victorian Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources (the Department).
The DAMP provides Council with a strategic framework and action plan for domestic animal management services throughout the City of Boroondara for the lifetime of the plan.
