We are a club that provides friendship and a range of activities suited to older people who want to join in social activities and meet new friends.

We are a small club with a current membership of 32 that we are seeking to increase by about 50%. Being small we have far more interaction between members than in the large Probus Clubs and despite our size, several very active interest groups.

Except for December, our meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm and usually include an interesting Speaker, followed by an optional lunch at a nearby cafe. Other activities and outings include local and longer excursions to places of interest, book club, walks, and cinema, theatre and craft groups. At least 2 “special” lunches are held during the year.

Membership costs are currently $70 pa, plus a $15 joining fee.

We provide opportunities for older people of all abilities and interests to participate in group activities to enhance wellbeing and foster connections, Tai chi, Line Dancing, Traditional Dancing, Choir, warm up and stretching and outings. We aim to encourage our members to be socially active, lead healthy lives and blend into the local community. We also partner with other clubs to provide joint activities and programs to members. We provide opportunities for older people to participate in group activities to enhance well-being and foster connections, Mah-jong, Line Dancing, Traditional Folk Dancing, Choir, Karaoke, Creative Painting, Table Tennis, and Ballroom (Sequence) Dancing. We aim to encourage our members to be socially active, lead healthy lives, and promote independence. We are holding activities on Monday and Wednesday 9:30 am to 5 pm, and Friday 7 pm to 10 pm (exclude public holidays). Cost: $20 annual membership fee.

We meet on the third Friday of each month (December and January excluded) from 10 am to 12 pm. A short formal meeting is followed by a presentation from an interesting speaker. Our U3A is a welcoming environment that aims to provide learning opportunities and social interaction for retired and semi-retired members of the community. We hold activities from Monday to Friday each week. There is a wide range of classes and activities on offer and presenters are drawn from both outside and within the member group. We run over 70 full year courses – languages, exercise and walking groups, literature and film groups, music courses, art classes, extending your thinking sessions, history groups and travel presentations. These are all led by member tutors. Plus more than 80 short courses each term presented by local, interstate, and international lecturers.

Activities we run include monthly talks, walks and visits as well as a regular group managing a “cyber” investment portfolio and a group meeting to enjoy HD classical music videos. Monthly meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Cost: contact club for details.

We offer activities including book clubs, cards, cinema, cycling, dressmaking, excursions, footy tipping, golf, walking, theatre/concerts, armchair travel and a men's chat group. Runs on the first Monday of each month from 10 am to 12 pm (noon).

Our club conducts Special Interest Groups (SIG’s) on topics ranging from bridge, heritage/genealogy, computer, investment, photography, to woodcraft as well as having walking groups, golf, dining out, lunch and chat, theatre and travel outings. Cost: please contact the club for details.
