Camberwell Bowls Club is a welcoming club, and it is about community and people. It is a venue where the community can meet, socialise and play the great sport of lawn bowls. Cost: $300 for the first year, then $500 per year for ongoing membership. Runs every day.

Regular concerts, which are popular with older Kew residents. Our band features brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. We play swing, classical, pop, film and traditional band music (e.g. marches). Runs on Fridays during the school term from 7:30 pm to 10 pm. Cost: free.

Camberwell Chorale is a mixed Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass choir, performing major and lesser known works from the classical chorale repertory, typically with around five concerts each year. New choristers are always welcome. Please feel free to come and sit in on a rehearsal before you join. Cost: price varies, please see our website for more information. Runs on Tuesdays from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.

Enjoy lawn bowling in an attractive facility, free coaching provided. Play socially with friends, or competitively in Tuesday and Saturday pennant competitions. It is a fun and challenging activity for all ages, abilities and fitness levels. It's a great way to keep fit and healthy, and meet people. Camberwell Camera Club, a friendly group with nearly 70 years of history and about 150 active members, welcomes new members with all levels of photographic experience. The Club meets every Monday at 7:30 pm for guest presentations and workshops, as well as offering mid-week outings, and it's annual ‘beyond point and shoot’ course which will help you take your photography to the next level. We offer courses in many different languages including - Mandarin, French, Italian and German. Classes are aimed at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. We also offer an 'English conversation class' for those for whom English is an Additional Language. You will need some English to join this friendly, supportive class.
