We are a club that provides friendship and a range of activities suited to older people who want to join in social activities and meet new friends.

We are a small club with a current membership of 32 that we are seeking to increase by about 50%. Being small we have far more interaction between members than in the large Probus Clubs and despite our size, several very active interest groups.

Except for December, our meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm and usually include an interesting Speaker, followed by an optional lunch at a nearby cafe. Other activities and outings include local and longer excursions to places of interest, book club, walks, and cinema, theatre and craft groups. At least 2 “special” lunches are held during the year.

Membership costs are currently $70 pa, plus a $15 joining fee.

A welcoming and inclusive space where families can drop in for a play with other families in the local community. Membership includes access from Monday to Thursday and facilitated Monday playgroup featuring cooking and science activities. Members are also able to hire the facility at a reduced price for weekend children's parties. Cost: $80 for a 6-month membership or $160 for a 12-month membership.

Chatty Cafe is a program that recognises how the simple act of having a chat over a cuppa can really brighten someone's day. It encourages connections in the community by getting people talking to one another.

Are you an active lady who enjoys Calisthenics, exercise, and fellowship with like-minded ladies? Then look no further, our East Kew ladies group is for you! Runs on Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm.

This is a free class for seniors over 65 years who are permanent residents or Australian citizens.

Tuesdays 12.30pm – 2.30pm during school terms.

Northern Bridge Club, in partnership with Canterbury Neighbourhood Centre, offers bridge on Wednesdays. Players must register directly with the club.

A monthly social club dedicated to all things gardening.

Enjoy guest speakers, exchange plants or seeds and chat with fellow gardeners over afternoon tea. Beginners to experienced green thumbs welcome.

Tea and coffee facilities are provided.

Come and play mahjong – the classic Chinese game of strategy, skill and luck in our friendly social group on Fridays.

No game knowledge is required as you will learn from your other lovely fellow players in a friendly, non-competitive environment.

Join us on Tuesday and Friday mornings between 9:30 am to 11 am at the Seniors Exercise Park in Victoria Park, Kew. These sessions are run by a group of 10 volunteers from the community who have undertaken training with the National Ageing Research Institute (NARI). This friendly, enthusiastic team is equipped to run our Come and Try sessions at the park, and demonstrate how you can use the equipment safely and effectively. If you’re interested in ways to improve balance, strength or mobility, or you want to try a new activity this year, come along to our next Come and Try session.
