Content components If you are planning to hold a large-scale, outdoor event on council land within the City of Boroondara, we need to know some details about your proposed event in advance.It's for this reason that that we require you to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) application. The information you provide in your EOI helps us provide early guidance, confirm timelines, identify suitable locations and manage demand for council land.What is a large-scale event?A large-scale event is one that meets at least one of these conditions: 1001 or more people are expected to attendtakes place in a space larger than 500m2occurs over multiple or recurring datesinvolves changes to road conditions requires car park closuresincludes amplified sound for a period of more than 5 hoursrequires a Place of Public Entertainment Permit (POPE)involves large infrastructure and event set up, such as: structures larger than 100m24 or more amusement rides or inflatablessale of alcohol6 or more food or beverage vendors or caterers.Take the quizNot sure if yours is a large event?
