Regulation 51 (2) - Property information for your private surveyor 

This provides details on whether the building or land is is an area:

• prone to infestation of termites (Regulation 150 / 151)
• at risk of significant snowfalls (Regulation 152)
• at risk of flooding (Regulation 153)
• designated land or works (Regulation 154)
• designated as a bushfire-prone area (Reg 155).

Your building surveyor may request this as part of your building permit application. This information is required for sale of property as part of a Section 32.

Anyone can apply for this information.

Regulation 51 (3) - Inspection approval dates

This includes any approved dates of the inspections carried out of the mandatory notification stages of building work carried out on the building or land.  

This information is restricted to: 

• the owner or mortgagee of the building or land
• a prescribed building practitioner reporting on a building under section 137B of the Building Act 1993.
