Content components Our public ride sessions are designed for casual ‘play and ride’ so your child can experience Kew Traffic School without being part of a school or kindergarten group. There is no Safety Education Program included in the session. Term 1 public ridesSessions will be available for ages 6 and under every Wednesday and Friday during the term.9 to 10:30 am11 am to 12:30 pm.Book term 1 public ride sessionAbout public ride sessionsThe cost is $11 per child riding on the track for each session.Bookings must be made for all children wishing to ride or scoot on the track.Individual bookings are limited to 6 children.Places for each session are capped for safety reasons.Children must bring their own bicycle or scooter and helmet (e-bikes, e-scooters, roller skates and skateboards are not permitted).Parents and carers must stay and supervise their children.Bring your own drinks and snacks.Pets are not permitted on the Kew Traffic School premises.It’s a requirement that all riders on the track wear a helmet at all times.School holiday public ride sessionsThis is a great school holiday activity for children up to 10 years of age.Sessions are available for 2 age groups (6 years and under and all ages up to 10 years) on weekdays during school holidays, excluding public holidays. Please note that if you are booking a session for all ages up to 10 years, there will be children aged 10 on larger bikes who ride at faster speeds.You can download our colouring sheet below to get children excited about their public ride session.
