Parks and gardens

Following the Australian and Victorian Government’s latest advice, our playgrounds are temporarily closed.

You can still visit our parks and gardens, but please observe the restrictions on gatherings of no more than two people except for members of your immediate household.

The health and safety of our community and Council staff is our top priority and we believe this decision is in everyone’s best interest. We apologise for any inconvenience.

For regular updates about coronavirus (COVID-19), please visit the Department of Health and Human Services website.

Boroondara is renowned for its many picturesque parks and gardens. Whether you are taking a relaxing stroll, want to entertain the kids in a fun playground or are planning a family picnic by the river, we have the perfect places for you.

For places to exercise your furry friends, find an off-leash dog park.

Some of our parks are featured below. To see all parks, gardens and reserves, find a park near you.
