Stage 4 restrictions: what's closed and what's open.

Due to the situation with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, bike skills workshops are temporarily suspended. This is to protect the community from the risks associated with the virus.

Do you already know how to ride a bike, but need a skills or confidence boost? We offer a range of low-cost workshops that cover key bike riding skills and bike maintenance. All workshops and courses are educational, practical and fun - so bring your bike and get ready to ride.

Workshops include:

  • Urban cycling confidence (a 5-hour course including on-road riding)
  • Hands-on bike maintenance (a 2.5-hour, interactive workshop)
  • One-on-one bike skills training (for complete beginners, offered throughout the year).

We also run a 2-day school holiday bike program for students aged between 9 and 16.

School Holiday Bike Program

The School Holiday Bike Program is designed for young people aged 9 to 16 years. This program prepares teenagers for on road riding and independent travel.

Learn to ride workshop for adults
