Content components We’re upgrading the local playground at South Surrey Park, on the corner of Verdun Street and Lille Street in Surrey Hills, due to its age and condition. About the upgradeThis playground upgrade aims to:offer a diverse range of play activities, experiences and equipmentimprove accessibility around the playgroundmeet the needs of children and families into the future.Key features of the new playground include: a play unit with 2 slides, climbing ramp, ground-level interactive play and bucket and pulley systemquadruple swing set and separate basket swing inclusive spinner agility trail with track glide, monkey bars and balance beamdouble spring rockerfind and discover nature artwork.Community consultationWe invited our community to share feedback to help guide the design for the new playground.We heard from 145 people over 2 rounds of consultation in 2024 and early 2025.
