Councillors endorsed the Plan in December 2023, and we're pleased to unveil the designed version at the launch.This event will celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of people with disability to our Plan and community.The event will be held at the Chandelier Room at Hawthorn Arts Centre, and includes the following highlights:A keynote speech by Mel Spencer OAM. Mel is a fierce Autistic advocate and a parent to 3 Autistic teenagers. She identifies as Autistic herself and is committed to ensuring that the world is more accepting of the Autism community. She'll discuss how to make our community more inclusive for people with disability.A showcase of 13 artworks by people with disability. We commissioned QArt Gallery and Studio by Endeavour Foundation to create artworks inspired by the Plan's vision. These will be featured in the designed version of the Plan.
