Please register below.Join City of Boroondara as we compete in the 2024 City Nature Challenge!You'll be helping to put Boroondara's flora and fauna on the world map, while contributing to important citizen science data collection. The challenge runs for 4 days, from Friday 26 to Monday 29 April 2024.We invite you to come along and join in an evening of spotlighting with Life Gone Wild.We will be on hand to help you spot, learn about and record your sightings, as we focus on our amazing nocturnal species! Together, let's see the incredible biodiversity that Boroondara has to offer!What to bringPlease wear appropriate clothing and shoes for an outdoor walk along uneven ground. Please bring a water bottle and be prepared for the weather.You may like to watch a video to learn how to use the iNaturalist app, if this is your first time participating in the City Nature Challenge. Watch the iNaturalist training video on YouTube.Where to meetThe closest public parking to the event is at Willsmere Park, near the intersection of Willow Grove and Wattle Road, Kew East, 3102, near the pavillion. We will meet you here and we will then walk down to the location together.Accessibility at this spaceWe can provide Auslan interpretation at this event. We need at least 2 weeks to confirm an interpreter. If you contact us closer to the event, we may not be able to organise an interpreter in time.
