Activities for over 55s

We are a club that provides friendship and a range of activities suited to older people who want to join in social activities and meet new friends.

Except for December, our meetings are held on the third Monday of the month from 10 am to 12 pm followed by an optional lunch at a nearby cafe. Cost: please contact the club for details.

This film group is held at a local cinema. We watch a movie together, followed by lunch or afternoon tea at a local café.

Deutscher Seniorenclub: Deutschsprachige Senioren treffen sich zum Mittagessen, Bingo, Kino, Gastsprecher, Kurzgeschichten und Gedichtlesungen. Es gibt deutsche Volkslieder, Geburtstags- und Weihnachtsfeiern und Besuche von Ausstellungen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants sowie Busreisen.

German speaking seniors get together for lunch, bingo, movies, guest speakers, short stories and poem readings. German folk singing, birthday and Christmas celebrations. Visits to exhibitions, places of interest, restaurants and bus trips.Every Sunday from 11 am to 1 pm. Every second Tuesday from 10 am to 3 pm. Cost: please contact the club for details.

Greek speaking seniors club that meet for lunches and events, guest speakers, walking, recipe and plant exchange. Every Thursday between 10am and 3pm. Cost: please contact club for details.

We meet on the third Friday of each month (December and January excluded) from 10 am to 12 pm. A short formal meeting is followed by a presentation from an interesting speaker. Other activities we run include a discussion group, film group, discovery walking, dining out, and morning coffee regularly across the month.

A social group for women aged 55-plus. Enjoy fun and new experiences in a supportive environment. Share knowledge, companionship and time together. Members meet on alternate Thursdays from 11 am to 1 pm during school terms (one meeting held at CFC, the other is an organised outing). $30 joining cost for the year.

Enjoy a warm welcome from the Golden Friendship Group, who gather weekly for a hot 3-course lunch, fun, games, education sessions, concerts, guest speakers and the celebration of special events. Costs and times vary – get in touch for more information.
