If your pet's behaviour becomes a problem, you may receive a fine (infringement notice). Some examples of offences include:
- your dog being off-leash in a leashed area
- leaving your dog unsupervised
- not registering your pet
- not giving your registered pet a tag.
Penalties vary depending on the nature of the offence.
Pay your animal fine within 28 days to avoid additional costs and the potential for legal proceedings.

Include a copy of your notice or your Infringement Number, and mail with your cheque or money order made payable to ‘City of Boroondara’, and crossed ‘Not Negotiable’ to:
