We are pleased to introduce our new temporary soft plastic recycling service for Boroondara residents. This service provides residents with a short-term option to recycle their soft plastics following the collapse of the REDcycle program.

We have set up collection points at:

APR Plastics will collect the soft plastics every Thursday. Due to the limited capacity at each collection point, we will not be able to accept more soft plastic for recycling if a collection point becomes full.

APR Plastics can also stop accepting soft plastic if they reach capacity limits at their processing facility or are no longer able to process the material. We will notify residents through our Temporary soft plastic recycling service page and on-site signage if the collection points become full or are no longer accepting soft plastic items.

Our temporary service will end when the Australian Government coordinates a longer-term, more viable soft plastic recycling solution with the supermarket and packaging industry. We continue to advocate on behalf of our community for action.
