Boroondara Youth Awards 2022
The Boroondara Youth Awards recognise the important role young people and organisations play in contributing to a safer and more resilient community.
Olympian Jacqui Cooper was the host of the 2022 Boroondara Youth Awards. She shared stories of her steadfast commitment to becoming a world-champion aerial skier.

Winner of Young Environmentalist of the Year was 13-year-old Evie Flynn.
“It means a lot to be recognised as an award winner. I really hope that other people see this and are inspired to get involved in their community", says Evie.
“It’s incredible how our council is making an effort to empower young people. We have a unique, fresh perspective that is immensely valuable, and even more effective when combined with the input of other age groups."
