The Boroondara Youth Awards are a celebration of young people and organisations that support young people in Boroondara and the awards recognise young people’s role in contributing to a safer and more resilient community.
Young people, workers and youth organisations can be nominated under 6 award categories.
The categories recognise both young people and organisations, celebrating their role in contributing to the community.
Leadership
This award recognises a Boroondara young person who has made significant impact through their leadership to the community within Boroondara.
Environment and Sustainability
This award recognises a young person who have made a significant contribution to raise environmental awareness and improve the environment in our community.
Creative Arts
This award recognises a young person who has made a significant contribution to the arts sector in Boroondara.
Youth Volunteer
This award recognises an outstanding young person who volunteers in Boroondara and helps support people in our community.
Inclusive Program
This award recognises the outstanding contribution an organisation makes to improve diversity and inclusivity for young people who are under-represented in the community.
Youth Professional
This award recognises an outstanding professional who works in Boroondara and helps supports young people in our community.
