My Smart Garden Program is a local council collaboration providing resources to help you:
- grow your own food
- shelter your home from the sun and wind
- create habitat for wildlife
- use water wisely
- reduce waste, and
- recycle resources.
The program offers Boroondara residents:
- free sustainable gardening workshops, webinars and videos
- a monthly e-newsletter with seasonal tips, recipes and information on upcoming events
- access to case studies, recommended reading and articles
- opportunities to swap and share advice with other local gardeners.
It doesn’t matter if you have a large backyard, a small balcony or courtyard, or a couple of pots. This program provides the resources you need to transform your outdoor space into a thriving and sustainable garden.
