About the depot

The Kew Depot recycling drop-off centre is a place where you can drop-off recyclables (normally accepted in your kerbside collection) for recycling for free. The centre doesn't accept any general household waste.

You can dispose of any other general waste at the Boroondara Recycling and Waste Centre. This centre also accepts recyclables, as well as household waste (including e-waste), general waste (such as disused appliances, mattresses and building materials), and green waste. The Boroondara Recycling and Waste Centre is also a Detox your Home drop-off site (gas bottles, fluorescent globes, batteries, white polystyrene).
