2025 Boroondara Summer Salon - online exhibition

Town Hall Gallery is delighted to present the annual Boroondara Summer Salon, a curated group exhibition celebrating the creativity and diversity of the Boroondara community. Featuring local artists, this vibrant community exhibition features paintings, prints, sculptures, photography, and more, showcasing the breadth of talent our community has to offer.

This eclectic presentation of nature, history, busy urban streets, wildlife, and abstract imagery reveals the mediums and subject matter that provides inspiration to artists who live, work, or study in the area. Take a leisurely stroll through the gallery halls, immerse yourself in the colours, shapes, and stories that adorn each artwork, and discover the hidden gems waiting to be unearthed.

  • trade exhibitions and displays
  • graduation ceremonies
  • performances.

Self-catering is available for eligible community groups with an annual turnover of under $1 million (conditions apply). Catering, staff hire and additional equipment hire are also available for this room. See the Hiring Guide for more information. 

Chandelier Room

The Chandelier room is suitable for:

  • meetings and conferences
  • weddings
  • gala functions
  • Chamber performances
  • exhibitions.

Self-catering is available for eligible community groups with an annual turnover of under $1 million (conditions apply). Catering, staff hire and additional equipment hire are also available for this room. See the Hiring Guide for more information.

The Basement

The Basement is suitable for:

  • performances and rehearsals
  • meetings.

Catering, staff hire and additional equipment hire are available for this room. See the Hiring Guide for more information.

Self-catering is available for community and commercial hirers in the Basement for 30 guests or less. Due to liquor licencing, all alcohol must be provided and served by Essential Catering & Events.

Community Arts Space

The Community Arts Space is suitable for:

  • performances and rehearsals
  • craft workshops and activities.

Catering, staff hire and additional equipment hire are available for this room. See the Hiring Guide for more information. 

Self-catering is available for community and commercial hirers in the Community Arts Space for 30 guests or less. Due to liquor licencing, all alcohol must be provided and served by Essential Catering & Events.

Mayor's Room

The Mayor's Room is suitable for:

  • meetings
  • training sessions
  • medium-sized functions.

Self-catering is available for eligible community groups with an annual turnover of under $1 million (conditions apply). Catering, staff hire and additional equipment hire are also available for this room. See the Hiring Guide for more information. 

The Zelman Room

The Zelman Room is suitable for:

  • meetings
  • training sessions
  • medium-sized functions.

The room overlooks the Main Hall and offers direct access to Main Hall balcony seating.

The Chamber

The Chamber is suitable for:

  • meetings
  • training sessions
  • medium-sized functions.
