Petanque is that wonderful game with steel boules you see played all over France. Our Club has a great location on Camberwell Hill. Petanque is an easy game to play and quickly get the hang of. We are a Probus Club, which provides fellowship, fun and friendship to all retirees. We meet on the second Friday of each month except January from 10 am to noon. We have coffee mornings, a walking group, a group subscribing to the Malvern Theatre company and we also have day activities visiting places of interest. Cost: contact club for details.

Blokes in the Kitchen is a great way for men to learn some simple easy-to-cook-at-home recipes in the company of other men. Come along and learn to cook under the guidance of chef Shawn and then share a meal and some great conversation together. This is a friendly and welcoming group who enjoy good food and company.

The Kew Garden Club meets once a month (from February to November) in the Phyllis Hore Room at Kew Library. There are always interesting speakers demonstrating and discussing a broad range of topics relating to gardening with both members and visitors. The meeting is usually followed by afternoon tea which allows time for people to catch up in more detail with the speaker and to socialise with other members. Plant sales available.
