The Ashburton Willows Junior Cricket Club is a proud, successful, sociable and family-oriented community club. It has a unique specialist coaching and playing mentorship model.

We are passionate about the development of our Junior Cricket Program and would love you and your families to be involved. AWCC has the following Junior Cricket Teams confirmed for the 2024-25 season.

The Ashburton Willows Cricket Club Junior Blasters is for kids who want to learn the basic skills of cricket through fun, game-based activities. The activities are designed for small groups to make sure every child gets a go. When kids have mastered the basics, we encourage them to join one of our under 10s junior cricket club teams.

Fridays 4 pm to 4.45 pm at Ferndale Park.

A program run by a new mum for new mums. Join our exercise class, specifically targeting areas of concern for post-natal mothers and focusing on safe pelvic floor options. We welcome all fitness levels and encourage you to bring your babies along!

Come for a stroll and reduce your mental load with our free community walking group. Our walking group is inclusive, supportive and flexible. This is a great opportunity to connect with your local community and enjoy a home-cooked meal. You don't need to register for the walks, just join us whenever you feel like it.

Facilitated by an early childhood educator, toddlers and pre-schoolers learn new skills through play, games, stories and music. Parents, grandparents or carers are encouraged to join in.

Introduction and development of soccer skills. Opportunity to come and try Soccer - programs run year round in various locations.

Little Athletics is a modified children’s athletics program for 5yo to 15yo athletes. Athletes participate and compete weekly with their friends during season, learning the many disciplines of athletics, such as running, jumping and throwing events. We are a community oriented sport.

Fun, non competitive girl focused activities to promote friendship, citizenship and adventure. Weekly meetings during term time invite girls to try new things, make new friends and explore a range of activities. Try free of charge for 3 weeks before having to join up.

Play basketball with our Canterbury Cougars Basketball Club, we play and train in the Boroondara Council and have been part of the community for 25 years!
We have teams across the following age groups: U9s, U10s and then all the way up to U23s. You can be as young as 6 when starting at our club in U8s.
We welcome boys and girls of all ages and abilities. We provide coaches and training venues for all our teams. We are proud of our fun, inclusive and skills based club!
