SOLO - Tuesday
A dedicated group of card players who love their solo and a good laugh. More suited to experienced game players however newcomers are welcome to sit-in for a session. Interested in learning more about the game - please visit your local library and see card playing books or check out “solo - how to play” on YouTube.

Tuesdays: 12.15pm to 3pm (Starts 20th January 2026)

A more social and relaxed group of solo enthusiasts who know the game pretty well. New members welcome as this is a slower paced session that allows beginners time to understand Solo.

Wednesdays: 9.30am to 11.30am (Starts 21st January 2026)

This is a game that originated in China but is loved and played all around the world. Learn the symbols and the language and enjoy the satisfaction of being able to shout Pong, Kong or Mahjong!

Thursdays: 12:30pm - 4:30pm (Ongoing) - (Starts 22nd January 2026)

Cost: $5 per session plus annual membership ($15)

This group caters for those who know and love the card game of Bridge.

An ongoing social group that meets every Friday for a friendly and laughter filled game of 500. New card sharks welcome.

At Camberwell Film Society (CFS) screenings, members share the viewing experience with fellow film enthusiasts, enjoying a wide range of films from local and overseas sources. Screenings are a social occasion and members are encouraged to take part in discussions before/after the film. CFS is a member of the Federation of Victorian Film Societies which promotes and co-ordinates the work of film groups and film festivals throughout Victoria.Third Wednesday of the month from February to November (second Wednesday in December).

Come along to our facilitated, open-age playgroup (0 to 5 years) for grandparents and carers. Mondays 9 am to 11:30 am during school terms. Per year $160, per half year $85, per term $50.

The Bridge group at BCC meet on Thursday and Saturday afternoons 12.30pm – 4.00pm (ongoing). All experienced players are very welcome. No partner? No problem—we’ll find you one! It’s a great way to keep your mind sharp and enjoy some friendly competition in a relaxed setting.

Come and join a friendly group of players in a game of social table tennis, also known as ping pong. All welcome.

Writing can be an isolating pursuit! Join a friendly local group of writers to connect with like-minded people and have an opportunity to write together, support each other and, if time permits, to share excerpts from writing.

As a new group, this group will evolve to suit the needs of the participants. The group will provide a regular writing commitment which can be challenging to have with our busy lives. There will be a brief break to support social interaction.

This group is not a tutored class and will not provide formal writing instruction. Held on Wednesday afternoons from 1.00pm to 3.00pm.
