For children aged 12 months to 5 years.
Tuesday session (4 hours) - 9.15 am to 1.15 pm
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday sessions (5 hours) - 9.15 am to 2.15 pm.

Acoustic Music Group – All welcome! Guitar, banjo, ukulele, mandolin, keyboard. Fridays (first and third of every month) 7.30-9.30pm.

Weekly Fee: $5, pay as you go

To participate in a Connect Group, you will need to be a member of Ashburton Community Centre. The Centre Membership fee is $15 per annum.

MATERIALS - All students must provide their own instrument, a stand and be able to print new music to bring to each class.

Please bring an ipad/tablet or another device to connect to the internet. Online songbooks are used by the group.

We have incredible parks in Boroondara, many with playgrounds and play equipment suitable for all ages.

A program facilitated by qualified early childhood educators. Children enjoy a range of indoor and outdoor activities. Childcare subsidy available (CCS). Runs on weekdays from 9 am to 2 pm (5 hours) — cost: $100 per session (less CCS, if applicable), or from 8 am to 5 pm (8 hours) — $135 per session (less CCS, if applicable). Must be a member to enrol (​$30 full or $15 concession).

This group of happy readers meet the third Monday of each month (except in December).

The Alamein Neighbourhood & Learning Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) provides social support activities for local residents aged 65 years and over. Assistance may be available with transport.

Social Support Group: Mondays and Wednesdays 10am – 12pm.

Activities include:

Armchair travel
Coffee outings at local cafes
Information sessions
Guest speakers
Gentle exercise
Chair Based Yoga: Thursdays 11am-11.30am

To participate, you must be over 65 years of age and be registered with My Aged Care. Potential participants can contact My Aged Care directly on 1800 200 422 to register and /or request an assessment and referral to our service.

Camberwell 'Speaking Made Easy' is part of a women's national organisation that helps members develop communication skills and confidence. Practised and impromptu speaking activities are offered at the monthly meetings, which are small, friendly and supportive. Feedback is positive and encouraging.

We meet on the third Friday of each month (December and January excluded) from 10 am to 12 pm. A short formal meeting is followed by a presentation from an interesting speaker. Other activities we run include a discussion group, film group, discovery walking, dining out, and morning coffee regularly across the month. Cost: please contact the club for details.
